Not a more difficult almost three-thousander in the Sellastock
From the Grödner Joch (2137 m) on trail 666 up a grassy ridge southwards, then crossing steep slopes into the gorge-like Val Setus, through this over scree and steep but secured rocks up to the terrace of the Sellastock and slightly down to the Pisciadù hut (2585 m, from Grödner Joch 1:30 – 2 hrs). From the hut then on trail 666 over scree and easy rock (with cable protections) up to a hollow at the southern foot of the mountain (approx. 2800 m, a bit higher the Bamberger Scharte or Sela di Val de Tita), here turn left and follow the markings northwards partly on scree trail, partly over terraced rock (a few spots require the use of hands) in 0:30 hrs up to the summit cross (2985 m, from the hut 1:30 hrs, from start 3 – 3:30 hrs). – Descent: via the ascent route (about 2 hrs).
