To the mountain peak Cruit

This magnificent mountain tour takes us from Brissagos up to the striking summit of the Cruit at an altitude of 2085 meters. The ascent begins leisurely along a small village and becomes increasingly challenging towards the Rifugio al Legn. Inaugurated in 1995, the mountain hut is a true jewel of the Ticino mountains and was built by the enthusiastic mountain enthusiasts of the "Amici della Montagna" as a project close to their hearts. From here, the view of the deep blue Lake Maggiore and the famous Brissago Islands is breathtaking. The further ascent to Cruit rewards us with one of the most spectacular 360-degree panoramas in the region: on a clear day, the view extends across the entire Maggiore basin to the snow-capped four-thousand-metre peaks of the Monte Rosa massif. The wild, pristine mountain landscape of Ticino is at its most beautiful here. This tour combines a Mediterranean atmosphere on the lakeshore with an Alpine mountain experience in perfect harmony.
