The mountaineering group "Wilde Bande", founded in 1878 and closely connected to the salt miners, built the path from Lafatscherjoch to Stempeljoch in 1929
The entire path from the Bettelwurf hut over the "Stempel", through the Pfeis to Hafelekar is called "Innsbruck High Trail".
From Hafelekar, descend with the Nordkette cable car and with the Hungerburgbahn to Innsbruck, then by bus to Hall.

From the Halltal entrance car park, start through the Halltal to the St. Magdalena guesthouse and further up to just below the Issjöchl. From here, cross in a large arc over the Wilde Bande path to the Stempeljoch. After the strenuous ascent to the Stempeljoch, descend to the Pfeishütte or, orienting on the Rumerspitze, continue without altitude loss to the Mandlscharte.
Once the Mandlscharte is reached, continue along the Goethe Path with breathtaking views down to the mountain station of the Nordkette cable car.
From here, take the cable car leisurely down to Innsbruck.
