The Lorenzispitze

Approach from Brixen or Klausen via Feldthurns to Latzfons and preferably further up to the parking lot at Kühhof (1550 m). From there, a short distance on the wide path 1/17 towards Klausner Hütte, soon turning right, always on the wide, unmarked but not to be missed forestry road, partly almost flat, partly moderately steep crossing of the forest slopes to the Latzfonser Almen and up to the hut of the Toaleralm (approx. 2040 m; from Kühhof just under 1:30 hrs, end of the wide path); now pathless uphill over grassy slopes, soon crossing a marked trail, a short way further up to the crossing trail 5/17, on this almost flat westwards to the southern ridge of Lorenzispitze (approx. 2100 m), here turning right and partly on trail traces over grassy steps and rock sections easily up to the summit (2483 m); from the alpine pasture just under 1:30 hrs – Descent: either the same as the ascent or down the southeast slopes to Klausner Hütte (1919 m, summer operation) and on path 1/17 out to
