Old snowfields in the area of the rear Tajatörl can cover the path until summer.
Especially in early summer, pay attention to the current conditions - crossing a slope after the Fußballwiese can be tricky with a lot of residual snow and without appropriate alpine experience.

Starting from the Coburger Hütte, first descend a bit towards the Drachensee before ascending on a switchback to the so-called Fußballwiese. This is crossed towards the Grießspitzen and left on an ascending moraine. Shortly afterwards, the path crosses out right from here. At the end of a steep slope, you reach the junction to the path to the Grünsteinscharte, which we leave on the right and continue on a moraine towards the rear Tajatörl. Here, a worthwhile detour to the Hinterer Tajakopf is possible, which however requires sure-footedness and a head for heights.
From the notch, descend steeply at first, then across a flatter section into the Brendlkar. Shortly after a sandy loam section, continue left towards the Brendlsee, near which debris of a bomber that crashed in the Second World War can be found. Please note, this is a memorial site.
From the Brendlsee, the path now goes down more steeply again and quickly loses altitude over serpentines and a short scree section before reaching a lovely forest path leading to the broad panoramic path between Ehrwalder Alm and Seeben Alm. This is followed to the left to Seebenalm before passing the Seebensee and ascending the hut slope to return to the Coburger Hütte.
