This hiking tour is perfect to start when you want to do some superior tours in later time. On some small parts you have to be free from giddiness. If you have some experience in the higher mountains, it is no problem for it.

From the Vital Hotel Post along a low-traffic road ( Reizegg) to the Hinterdientner Wanderweg (trail No. 65). Past the Schneggbauer farm in the direction of the Wirtsalm, and following trail No. 66 (a small part of the Bockkluft nature path) we will reach the Erichhütte. ca. 1 ½ hrs. Refreshments are available! Leaving the Erichhütte, we follow mountain trail No. 432, branching off to the Taghaube after about 400 metres. Trail No. 437 takes us steeply uphill to the right (initially lots of loose stones, then rocky) and to the Taghaube. Only suitable for sure-footed hikers with no dizziness issues! Walk-time from the Erichhütte ca. 2 ¼ hrs.
