Ring that allows you to cross the separation line between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany in the area between Fellicarolo and La Doganaccia.
From Rifugio Taburri, take a path that climbs through the woods first towards Monte Seruca and then towards Pizzo dei Sassi Bianchi. Just before the peak the forest ends, and after crossing it you ascend through meadows up to the dividing line between Emilia and Tuscany. Here take the path to Monte Rotondo and then towards Cervinara. After a further downhill stretch you reach a kind of fork from which you descend towards the source of the Doccione stream. From here, going back through the woods, you return to the starting point of the route.

Author’s recommendation
The separation area is splendid, the impression is that there is relatively often strong wind at the summit. For this reason, sunscreen is also recommended to avoid sunburn.
