Sentiero attrezzato degli Scaloni e dell'Angiom
The mountain route at Monte Anglone leads us over secured paths with climbing sections and offers the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the history of the region. From Dro, it goes up over the Sentiero degli Scaloni to Monte Anglone to the Ristoro San Giovanni and down via the Sentiero dell'Angiom. Both paths require surefootedness and a head for heights and both lead over some climbing sections. The difficult parts are well secured, there are wire ropes and additional securing with a via ferrata set is possible and recommended for beginners. Most (experienced) mountaineers pass the paths without securing. The route goes over steep rock steps, ladders, and stairs. It is best to follow the route as described because you then have the most challenging parts on the ascent. The two routes are connected by the Sentiero delle Cavre, which brings closer the life and work of the forest farmers on Monte Anglone back then with information boards and devices from that time.
