A moderately difficult mountain hike where you can enjoy the beautiful scenic impressions and views into the Rotwand area.
The Seeberg is the local mountain of Bayrischzell and a classic viewpoint over the Bayrischzell basin. The mostly narrow paths to the summit are shaded in summer and pleasant to walk on.

We start our mountain hike in Bayrischzell at the Seeberg parking lot. Passing the minigolf course, the first ascent to Seeberg begins for us. With a pleasant incline, we walk always through the forest, through the steep slopes and up many switchbacks. Along our route, there are always attractive views of the Rotwand area until we reach the Seebergalm. Over the sunny, mostly treeless south slope, it takes us about half an hour from here to the summit. From up here, we have a magnificent view of Bayrischzell and the Leitzach Valley. The descent initially takes us to Klareralm and then further towards Osterhofen/Geitau. At the reservoir, we follow the paved road to Klarerhof and then turn right along the path back to Bayrischzell along the Leitzach river, back to our starting point.
