The route is well suited for hike & bike since the ascent and descent from Götsch to Hasentalalm follows a drivable, although rather steep, road. You can "park" your bike at Hasentalalm. For those who like it somewhat more challenging, they can still pedal uphill on part of the military road to Ochsenlenke until the path is left.

Safety information
The mountain tour involves no special alpine hazards. Only on the brittle northeast ridge and the steep south slope below the small saddle after the northeast ridge is a bit of caution required, especially when wet.Roadbook
Here we leave the path and ascend over meadows with a gentle incline to the northwest ridge of Schneespitz. We reach the ridge at about 2740 m. Now follow the ridge to the summit. Stay directly on the ridge the whole time, it is easier than it looks from below.
After the summit rest, we briefly follow the northeast ridge. Then trail marks and small cairns lead into the southeast slope. Soon after, we reach the small saddle at about 2780 m elevation. Now descend south over a very steep grassy slope to reach the "Brunna," a high alpine pasture valley. Through this valley, we continue descending with a gentle incline. At about 2450 m we turn west to reach path no. 1B, which leads from Knutental to Ochsenlenke.
On the path, we then ascend to the saddle and follow the path down to Hasentalalm. Now begins again the long descent via the forest road back to the parking lot.
For bikers:
From the parking lot, immediately after the bus stop, bypass the first avalanche gallery on the right and then the second gallery on the left (sign "Hofer-Hof"). About 300 m after the second bypass, the driveway to Hofer-Hof branches off to the south. Now ride past the farm to Hasentalalm.
