At the Stüdlhütte, the ascent to the Schere is already signposted. It goes northwards initially up a steeper slope in switchbacks. As soon as the terrain becomes flatter (from here on pathless but marked), turn right and thus ascend over a soon rock-strewn flank to the long ridge spur coming from the Luisenkopf towards the south. Over the ridge, you reach the small summit cross in the rocky terrain. If you want, you can also follow the ridge a good way further (with slight ups and downs) towards the north, where one or another easy scrambling section has to be mastered.
The descent to the Stüdlhütte is along the same route.
