The alpine pastures are staffed from late June to September, and the dairy farmers serve excellent homemade cheese specialties.

Russbach Tourist Board: www.russbach.infoRoadbook
The path leads past the Gablonzerhütte, then to the deepest cut between the rocky Kleiner Donnerkogel and the dome-shaped Törleck. After a few minutes, you reach a fork in the road. The right path is the Austriaweg to the Stuhlalm, but you take the left path. Initially through green alders and dwarf pines, then over rock slabs, scree, steep rocky steps, and through a short rock gorge towards the summit. The uppermost section of the path crosses terrain covered with scree and is again easier to walk on.
