High above the Tyrolean Lech Valley rises the 2580 m high Ruitelspitze. The massive rock formation is over 1 km wide and, thanks to its exposed location, an excellent viewpoint mountain. An ascent of over 1700 meters and a frequently pathless crossing of the jagged and often exposed ridge makes the route accessible only to experienced mountaineers.
