Bei dieser Wanderung geht es hoch hinaus. Unser Weg führt uns dabei von Bad Oberdorf über das Horncafé und den Häbelesgund hinauf zur 2034 m hohen Rotspitze und wieder zurück.

Die 2033 m hohe Rotspitze ist aufgrund ihrer Dreiecksgestalt ein dominanter Berg der Allgäuer Alpen bei Bad Hindelang. Mehrere Wanderwege führen hinauf zum Gipfel. Unsere anspruchsvolle Route verläuft von Bad Obderdorf über das Horncafé und den Häbelesgund. Dabei überwinden wir insgesamt 1376 Höhenmeter. Eine Alternative (landschaftlich sehr reizvoll und im Abstieg technisch einfacher als die Aufstiegsroute, aber länger!) ist der Abstieg über die Haseneck-Alpen ins Retterschwanger-Tal.
