You can park for free in two garages in Lech in summer (as of October 2016). In the Anger car park it costs 1,-€ per entry in winter, regardless of how long you stay. The buses run only until 08:00 am to the toll station, so they are useless. Also, a person pays 12.80 € (day ticket) plus 5 € toll. For a car, the toll is 15 €, no matter how many people ride.
Alternative: 13 km by bike with 435 m ascent.
You can drive through the barrier until 08:00 am, afterwards only authorized persons may drive until 16:30. The descent may be started from 3:30 pm (there are corresponding signs up there). If you feel like it and want to use the toll fee, you can still drive about 20 minutes to Spullersee in the afternoon. It is a reservoir and not as beautiful as Formarinsee, but the ride there in autumn is wonderful.
The most beautiful route of my life (perhaps the Dolomite routes are more beautiful). There are ibex!
