Beautiful route to a forest mountain that is in front of the Sengsengebirge and the Hoher Nock. Especially at the summit, the Radingberg is very scenic, with views extending from the Bosruck massif, over the large and small Pyrgas to the mountains in the rear Stodertal. During the ascent, there are several viewpoints of the distinctive Hoher Nock.
The path starts at the parking lot "for Radingberg hikers" on the Rettenbach forestry road. The first few meters run moderately steeply over a gravel forest road, but then a very steep forest path immediately branches off to the left. After a few minutes, the first viewpoints of the Bosruck massif and the large and small Pyrgas open up. The path remains very steep the entire time; only the last few meters to the summit become flatter. Once reached, the view is more than worth the rather strenuous ascent!
