The challenging hike to Puig de Massanella leads us through almost untouched landscapes. Over winding paths, we walk through typical southern mountain forest. Over the wide scree fields covered with grass below the summit, cairns and stone piles guide us; in some places, we use our hands to help with ascent and descent. On Puig de Massanella, a magnificent view awaits us, which, in clear weather, extends over the entire Balearic island.
