Piz de Molinera crossing

At the beginning of this route, take the cable car from the Mediterranean valley up 1000 meters to alpine terrain. The path leads north along the ridge through a densely forested section of the trail. Hiking between large boulders, we reach the Alp di Brogoldone. From there, we have a beautiful view of the towns and villages on the Magadino plains as well as many nearby and distant mountain peaks. Then the path leads up to the 2288 m high summit of Piz de Molinera, the local mountain of the Capanna Brogoldone. A wonderful panoramic view awaits us there as well. Shaded paths lead down to the Alpe Domàs and then through a wooden sculpture path in the forest. There, we learn about the local flora and fauna before returning to the cable car.
