The Piz Daint is an almost-3000-meter peak at the Ofenpass. Thanks to the high starting point, it is an ideal destination for a half-day route. Using public transport, an varied crossing from the Ofenpass to Tschierv can be made. A special feature of this route is the numerous bizarre rock needles and turrets made of dolomite, which amaze during both the ascent and descent. From the summit, there is a beautiful view of the Ortler and the "Engadin Dolomites."
