From the lively little town of Riva we start the mountain route up to just under 1,500 meters. Narrow but terrain-adapted paths lead over partly very steep ascents. Passing the walls of the Bastione fortress and the small Santa Barbara hut, we follow the via ferrata along the Via dell´Amicizia up to the Cima SAT. At Rocchetta Giochello, the highest point of the route, a picturesque view over Lake Garda from a bird's eye perspective awaits. Those who feel comfortable on steeper paths will enjoy an interesting crossing on this mountain route, which mostly runs through bright mountain deciduous forest but certainly does not skimp on stunning views.
