Roadbook
The trail begins directly behind the Milchhäusle with an unmarked forest path and leads steeply upwards through the forest. Occasionally a few roots help as handholds. Also short scrambling I on rock further up is necessary. It follows a left traverse and on a narrow path along a rock ridge and at its end to the right over the key passage (steel cable) to the Pfrontener Mountain (1273 m above sea level). Further to the east summit (1297 m above sea level) and continuing up and down to the middle summit (1384 m above sea level) along a narrow ridge. There is only a small wooden cross here. Then down into a hollow called Krenge and through the forest keeping right with an uphill section towards Schnalskopf. Red dots are helpful for orientation. The Schnalskopf (1455 m above sea level) can be briefly visited with scrambling or bypassed. Then downwards through a squeeze on the left past a rugged ridge section and upwards to the Kienberg (1536 m above sea level). Further along the west ridge with a beautiful panorama either on the ridge or bypassing some obstacles on the left. The path becomes steeper and leads through dense vegetation to the forest road at Himmelreich (1200 m above sea level). Southwards through a clearing on the left into the Achen Valley to the Fallenmühle guesthouse with dining opportunities. After a refreshment the path crosses the river to the right towards Pfronten and along it to the Drindlmühle, then left into the residential area Kienbergstraße to the starting point Milchhäusle.
