The spectacular mountain route first takes us through the Bognanco Valley, which shines in lush green tones. The view reaches the surrounding mountain peaks, and the path winds through the wonderful landscape up to the two lakes Lago di Arza and Lago di Monscera. From Passo di Monscera, the ridge hike over the three peaks begins, with the path over Cima del Tirone, Cima Mattaroni, and Cima Verosso becoming increasingly challenging. Magnificent views of the four-thousand-meter peaks of the Simplon (Weißmies, Lagginhorn, and Fletschhorn), the glacier of Monte Leone, and Monte Rosa with its four peaks compensate for any exertion. On Cima Verosso, we enjoy the views once more and gather strength for the rather steep descent back into the Bognanco Valley.
