The climb to Monte Zeledria is short but steep, especially in the first part. The distinctive summit where a curious metal flag "waves" is reached along the sunny southeast ridge. The descent takes place through the amphitheater formed by two ridge-crests running toward the southeast and northeast. The only point requiring attention is a short metal ladder about 3-4m high that allows you to overcome a brief rocky outcrop. No particular difficulties are present on the remaining part of the route. From the summit, it is possible to see much of the numerous lakes in the area: Lake Nambino, Serodoli, Tre Laghi, Scuro, and the Malghette lakes, as well as the entire Brenta Group from north to south.

    Roadbook

Once out of the upper station, climb behind it and reach the obvious Sat sign placed just above. Near the sign is a metal plaque indicating the name of the equipped path Umberto Bozzetto. Continue straight uphill, Sat path 267. The path initially runs along the ridge line, quite wide, then, where the rocks become more vertical, moves to the south side (left) of the ridge, which rises straight to the summit of Monte Zeledria. The ascent along the path overlooks Lake Nambino. Just before reaching a small pass-saddle, just below the summit, you must overcome a short metal ladder (3-4m), this is the most difficult point, allowing you to pass above a brief rock step. Beyond the ladder, you reach the pass-saddle where there is a Sat sign indicating the start of the trail to be taken on the descent. Continue uphill and, with the last steep section, reach the summit of Monte Zeledria at 2426m where the characteristic metal flag is located. For the return, descend again to the pass-saddle where the Sat sign indicates: Rifugio Pradalago, and proceed left entering the amphitheater formed by the two ridges: southeast and northeast, leaving Sat path 267. The path initially descends steeply, then reduces gradient and ends near Rifugio Viviani – Pradalago arriving to the left of the small water body near the refuge (2082m). Once at the refuge, ascend right to the upper station of the Pradalago Express Cable Car and return to the valley.

    Directions

Reach the north side of Madonna di Campiglio, specifically the roundabout above the town at the tunnel exit. From here, descend, one way, to Piazza Brenta Alta and ascend to the start of the Pradalago Express Cable Car. Take the lift and reach its upper station from where you continue on foot. Off-season, the lift remains closed, so you must start on foot from Malga Zeledria, located above Passo Campo Carlo Magno. The elevation gain increases by about 300m.
