If the grass on the meadow slope is wet, special attention is recommended as the grass partially covers the path.
Roadbook
From the Poccet Alm on the asphalt road to the next hairpin bend. There, at a water point, continue to the right on a path (pay attention to the markers) until you reach a forest road again. Continue on this for about 800 m until a path branches off to the right at a left-hand bend. Continue on this, first through forest and dwarf pines, later on rocky but easily passable terrain, until a notch. After this, turn right and the path now continues over a meadow slope, then makes a bend to the left and finally reaches the summit via the south side with a short steep section. Wide panoramic views of the mountain world from the summit.
The descent follows the same route back to the forest road, then follow this back to the Poccet Alm.
Directions
From Tarvis on the federal road through the Kanaltal, about 4 km behind Pontebba a bridge goes left over the Fella to the village of Pietratagliata, directly after the bridge turn left to a sharp right-hand bend, then continue on this road in several hairpin bends about 8 km to the Poccet Alm.

At the edge of the road near the Poccet Alm. Caution: very limited parking available.
