Roadbook
Right at the Chiesa di Santa Patronilla begins the well-marked hiking trail. In the forest, the path, partly gravelly, partly rooty-earthy, winds over the steep southern ridge up to a flattening. This suggested ridge is crossed until you reach the view of the rugged summit structure. The steep rocky flank is now skillfully ascended by the path in several switchbacks up to the sandy erosive "summit ridge". This can be crossed directly to the beautiful summit cross by following the trail traces, but it is also easier to climb on a forest path up to the small summit hut with benches and then to the cross above. The highest point of Monte Censo with a cairn can be reached in a few steps northwards over the sandy summit ridge.
Descent along the ascent route.
