Circular route from Cornalba to the popular viewpoint summit Monte Alben.
The Monte Alben is one of the most impressive peaks of the Bergamasque Prealps, its summit ridge dotted with numerous limestone pinnacles and spikes stands out from the densely forested landscape. Despite the wild character of the landscape, hiking trails lead to the summit from all sides. This route proposal is a circular path from Cornalba, with the less frequented ascent via the "Sentiero Beita" offering a quieter alternative to the popular ascent via the Sentiero Dei Tre Valloni. The north ridge of Monte Alben has some short scrambling sections. On the descent you can stop at the popular Rifugio Monte Alben.
