This is a stunning but challenging hike! Bring good footwear, hiking poles (optional) and a lot of water (no refugio or water supply on the way).
Watch-out: some of the route is off track, staying on the 08 marked path instead (additional 1km) is recommended. Some of the markings are faded (bring gps). Some passages of the track are on challenging terrain (mountain hike!).
Besides that the track is diverse (forests, alpine meadows and mountain passes) with stunning views across the Apennines and surrounding valleys.
