Lodner hut and Blasius pointer

From Rabland (526 m) first take the Texel cable car (valley station above the village in the direction of Partschins near the cemetery) up to the Gigglberghof farm (1565 m; bar). From there take trail no. 24 for 1 hour, crossing the slopes to the Nasereith hut (1523 m), then take trail no. 8 for a long ascent via the Gingglalm to the Kuhalm hut (2196 m, refreshment point) and on to the Lodner hut (2262 m; around 60 beds; from Gigglberghof approx. 3 hours). On the Blasiuszeiger: From the fork in the trail just above the hut, always follow the signs for the Blasiuszeiger, first on trail 9 westwards to the Lafaisbach (bridge over a small rocky gorge), then southwards, partly in hairpin bends, up to a grassy ridge (approx. 2500 m), over this almost flat to the foot of the north ridge, then crossing the broad north-east flank of the mountain (slate rock and rubble) to the east ridge and to the left of this over steep grass and rock steps on an earthy path fairly straight up to the summit
