Circular route to an isolated lookout summit between rolling pre-Alpine landscape and rugged high mountains.
The Tabor is an isolated mountain massif between Vercors and the Écrins Massif, not to be confused with the 3178 m high Mont Thabor in the Cerces Massif. The summit offers a beautiful view of the three lakes of the Matheysine Plateau and in good weather over the wild peaks of the Écrins Massif. With some luck, you can observe vultures that like to circle above the summit.
