Widely visible summit in the southern ridge of Ultental, rising immediately north above the Gampen road pass and Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde.
From Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde, follow route 10 north- and westwards first through meadows and then mostly moderately steep through forest up to Laugenalm (1853 m; 1:30 hours). From the alpine hut, on path 10, initially still through forest and then over open slopes northwest- and northwards up to the junction and left on the stony but otherwise quite good rocky path following route 10 up to the summit (2434 m). From Laugenalm 1:40 hours. Descent via the ascent route.
