Latemar Peak is also known as Schenon, and at 2791 meters is the second highest peak of the Latemar Group.

The route we propose is not for everyone because it has some challenging points that require some prerequisites: sure-footedness, no fear of heights, and a minimum familiarity with the alpine environment. Specifically: in a dark rock gully - grade I with slightly exposed passage -, on some ascents and descents of grade I - somewhat loose rock - and two other short exposed stretches.

However, those who reach the summit will say: wow, amazing! From the top, you enjoy stunning 360-degree views with the Catinaccio and Lake Carezza in the foreground.
