Laghetto summit

In the area of Malga Vallina d'Amola, turn off onto the Sentiero Oscar Collini path (mark 211) and walk steeply uphill in a northerly direction until you reach the area of Pian del Sass (2154 m). After crossing a drop-off on the left, the trail continues westwards along a wide ridge to the Rifugio Giovanni Segantini (2373 m). From here you have a wonderful view of the Presanella, the Cima Cornisello and the impressive Brenta Group. Walk towards your destination in the distance on the right (north-west), first on path 216 (to the Laghi di Cornisello lakes); cross a bridge and then climb up to a small lake above. Leave the path at the bend to the right that leads to the Bocca dell’Om and continue to the left over the edge of a large moraine. At the end, turn right (north) towards the foot of the mountain.
