HIKE: From the car park at 1060 m, we hike past the Reedsee junction to GH Prossau (1279 m). Through the high forest to a stream crossing at 1530 m and in the larch forest up to the Kühkar (1800 m). Now almost flat, slightly up and down, to a bridge at 1810 m and to Kesselboden at 1948 m. We climb uphill to a large cairn at 2310 m, reach another one and a glacier remnant at 2480 m. Another steep ascent to the Kleinelendscharte (2660 m) with a signpost. Left to the nearby Ali Lanti bivouac box at 2685 m and then pathless, initially flat over scree to the NW ridge, via which you reach the summit of the Keeskogel (2884 m ) over easy boulders (max. I-II). A good 4 hours and 1900 metres of climbing are required for this summit.

DESCENT: Back to the bivouac and the saddle (2660 m) and the long way back to GH Prossau (1279 m). Take the easy path back to the Grüner Baum (1060 m).

Total: Approx. 1975 metres of ascent and 7 3/4 hours walking time, reasonably brisk.
