The hike starts at the Sparchen parking lot at the Kaisertal ascent. From here, you go up about 280 steps into the Kaisertal, passing the Veitenhof. At the first large fork in the trail, turn left towards Ritzaualm. This path goes a bit through the forest, follow it until you reach the Ritzaualm. At the next fork, turn right, following the signs to Hinterkaiserhof and Antonius Chapel. Here you have a great view of the Kaiser Mountains and can take a break on a bench.
