The hike takes us from Oberstdorf via the Fiderepass and Mindelheimer Hut, over the Heilbronner Weg – a well-known high alpine trail along the ridge tops of the main Allgäu chain – and via the Rappensee and Kemptner Hut back to Oberstdorf. Green pastures, flower-rich alpine meadows, and rocky peaks alternate. Along the way, in the original alpine pastures and huts, we can refuel for the next stage. The typical animals of the Allgäu Alps such as ibex, chamois, marmots, and eagles can be observed at close range.
