From the Hochbär car park head southeast on a marked path to the forest edge, then continue relatively steeply uphill crossing the forest road 3 times, then continue on the grassy western ridge, after about 50 minutes walking time you reach a small "LAcke", then continue to the Mölbegg junction (saddle 1938 m) Hochstein. From here it is about 1.5 hours more. The path leads over a long ridge southwards to the Edelweißspitze (1990 m) and over a long grassy ridge (relatively narrow path) further to the Hochstein, 2183 m. The last ascent is relatively steep and not recommended when wet. After about 3 - 3.5 hours you reach the summit.
Caution when wet, as very steep grassy slopes are crossed (surefootedness absolutely necessary)!
