The route can be done in both directions.
Descent via Kleinzemmalm and Unterautal is also well possible.
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.

Seewaldhütte: https://www.achensee.de/seewaldhuetteRoadbook
The marked Jägersteig begins directly at the parking lot, going through the steep forest slope. Soon the path levels off, becomes less exposed, cuts the alpine road twice to finally merge into it. We follow it to Bründlalm. Beyond this, we leave the road on the right onto the marked hiking trail, which leads through the high forest to Jochalm. A cart path leads to Seewaldhütte in 15 minutes; you can shorten the route on a clear but unmarked path. Now the trail leads up the broad meadow ridge in three stages to Hochplatte with Edelweiß cross and summit logbook.
Descent along the ascent or on a marked path over the northeast ridge to Falkenmoosalm. A short steep section is overcome via a rocky dwarf pine corridor, then the meadow ridge widens. To the right, it is possible to cross to Seewaldhütte. We follow the ridge down to the alpine road and continue along it in a long right-hand bend down to Falkenmoosalm. Here we turn right and follow the alpine road through the Blaserbachgraben past Feichtenalm to Achenkirch. On the "hiking trail to Achensee," we return to the starting point.
