As an alternative to the usual start in Scharling, we start directly in Bad Wiessee and descend again over the Ringspitz.
A mix of comfortable forest roads, marked trails, and unmarked path tracks make the appeal of the route.

Roadbook
We start at the farthest parking lot in the Söllbach valley, initially walking with a moderate ascent along the Söllbach and further to the Bauer in der Au. After a short stretch of forest road, it goes on a hiking trail and a regular forest path to the Hirschlacke (valley station of the material cable car of the Hirschberghaus). Here we meet hikers from Scharling. Left is slightly steeper or right (not in case of avalanche danger) leads to the Hirschberghaus. From here, the further path to the Hirschberg can be well seen.
The return route is already known to us up to the Hirschlacke. This is followed by another stretch of forest road up to just before the height 1,321 m Reibentennen. We reach the Ringspitz 1,293 m on an unmarked path that follows the ridge; from here, we have a unique view of Lake Tegern and Bad Wiessee.
The first 100 m descent from the Ringspitz to the parking lot is very steep, involves high terrain steps, and requires special caution.
