DreischusterhütteSafety information
Up to the summit register, it is an easy mountain hike; the last meters to the main summit require surefootedness.Tips and suggestions

We hike on the gravel road and on the shortcut marked path about 100 meters down to the Antoniusstein parking lot. Shortly before, path 7A branches off to the left to Haunoldköpfl. After a few switchbacks, you cross a wide scree gully. Then, the well-established forest path crosses the Gwengwald with a slight ascent (including crossing two narrow scree gullies). At the fork in the path (straight on to the Haunold hut), we follow path 7 southwards uphill to the tree line. Under the rugged north ridge of Haunold, we cross to the right to a grassy ridge flattening. Here, next to a rock slab, is the summit register (and the hiking trail ends here). If you want to conquer the slightly westward visible Haunoldköpfl, you must cross the Haunold north ridge on an eroded path, scramble briefly down into a notch and climb the slightly exposed ridge to the bare main summit.
