Beautiful views down into the impressive gorge of the Schwarzbach
Hike from Sunnbüel station towards Spittelmatte. Continue to Stierebärgli where you turn right and reach the Schwarzbach on a steep and narrow path. When crossing it, you have a beautiful view down into the impressive gorge. After a rock passage, the path leads over some stairs with fixed ropes and further through light mountain forest to the Waldhaus (restaurant) in Gasternholz. From there, follow the hiking trail towards Kandersteg.
Slippery conditions on steep earthy sections when wet. Only suitable for sure-footed hikers (fixed ropes, short wooden ladder, and stairs).
