You can enjoy beautiful views during the Gschnitzer hut circular route. The popular circular route, in a maximum of six daily stages, leads off the beaten routes and paths into almost untouched landscape and can be started and ended at any hut. The start of the entire hut circuit is the valley station of the Bergeralmbahn at Steinach a.Br. at the beginning of the Gschnitztal, and the last possible station is the Blaser hut on the opposite side of the valley. Between are the Tribulaun hut, Bremer hut, Innsbruck hut, Padasterjochhaus, and Blaser hut. All high-altitude trails are well marked and easily managed for sure-footed and dizzy-free hikers with alpine experience. For less enduring hikers, individual stages or shortened variants are ideal. The provision of mountaineers is excellently guaranteed at all huts at reasonable prices.

Safety information
Absolute sure-footedness and freedom from dizziness required!Roadbook
- Day stage: Ascent with the Bergeralmbahn gondola in Steinach am Brenner to the summit station at Nösslachjoch. (Opening hours: www.bergeralm.net) From there, a beautiful ridge hike (trail no. 42) leads to Lichtsee and further over the Trunajoch, where one follows the ridge (trail no. 94) above alpine meadows and on the Tyrolean high trail (trail no. 38) up to Gstreinjöchl (2,540 m). Then descend to the Tribulaunhaus (2,064 m) back in the Gschnitztal. (Overnight stay) Attention!!: The route currently goes via Eggerberg.
- Day stage: From Tribulaunhaus southwards on trail no. 59, after a short distance at the trail junction no. 63 follow, then no. 130 – now you are on the Anniversary Trail. The path leads through impressive rocky terrain, surrounded by the rocks of the Gschnitzer Tribulaun and the Pflerscher Pinggl. The goal is Bremer Hut (2,411 m) at the far end of the Gschnitztal. (Overnight stay)
- Day stage: From Bremer Hut descend to Lautersee and then follow the Stubai high trail no. 124 through fairly exposed and rocky terrain. Here, a secured rope passage must be managed. At the end of the daily stage, you reach Innsbruck Hut (2,370 m) at the foot of the Habicht. (Overnight stay)
- Day stage: From Innsbruck Hut now via trail no. 123 into Pinnistal, which belongs to the Stubai Valley. Passing the Karalm and halfway to Pinnisalm, ascend via the Anniversary Trail (no. 7) to Silbersattel below Kirchdachspitze peak. Attention: absolute sure-footedness and freedom from dizziness are required here because the terrain is quite exposed! From there continue on the Anniversary Trail (no. 122) to Padasterjoch and down the ridge to Padasterjochhaus (2,232 m). (Overnight stay)
- Day stage: From Padasterjochhaus ascend via trail no. 7 to Wasenwand and continue on the ridge to Roter Kopf and at the signpost to Kesselspitze (no. 8). Arrived there, descend to Kalbenjoch, always following the signposts to Peilspitze (trail no. 13). Here too, a secured rope section must be managed to reach Peiljoch below Peilspitze. Then descend to Blaser Hut (2,180 m). (Overnight stay)
- Day stage: From Blaser Hut first follow the forest road (no. 13) or shorten the bends via trail no. 13 until shortly before the treeline where trail no. 30 turns off to the south. This leads across beautiful flower meadows, then into the forest, crosses the forest road once again, and finally reaches the district above Trins village. Cross the village and go to the opposite side of the valley where the forest and meadow path along the Gschnitzbach leads back to the valley station of the Bergeralmbahn.
