A route, at the edge of Nationalpark Hohe Tauern in Austria, from the Alpinzentrum Rudolfshütte. This is a luxury mountain hut and mountain hotel where you can reach by cable car from Uttendorf.
It is located in the Granatspitzgruppe, between the Großglockner and Großvenediger. A perfect base for a fixed-base route. Every day we make a challenging day route with light luggage. Various glaciers and peaks are reachable within a few hours. You practice on ice, scree, and rock and climb the Granat Spitze, the Hohe Fürleg, and the Sonnblick among others.
