Roadbook
From the Lämmerbach parking lot, depending on the weather, either on the forest road or the alpine path to the saddle of the Genneralm. Follow the signs to the Gennerhorn. 100 m after leaving the forest road, head right without a path across the alpine meadow towards the east flank. As soon as the meadow flattens out again, you can clearly see the entrance as a cut-out alley between the mountain pines. The path to the summit is sometimes marked, well-trodden, and somewhat cleared. It is a bit unpleasant to walk when wet because it is very earthy. The Gennerhorn summit at 1735 m is a perfect viewpoint with free views in all directions. Descend via the also earthy but well-cleared trail on the west side. From the saddle between Gennerhorn and Gruberhorn, return to the Genneralm on a well-marked and easy path. There are dining options at Hintererhütte, Reithütte, or Poschn Hütte. The return route to the starting point is the same as the ascent. Alpine path or road.
