The mountain known as the "Ammergau" or "Ostallgäu Matterhorn" draws attention from afar due to its distinctive shape. With its bright Wetterstein limestone cliffs, Geiselstein strongly contrasts with the dark forests. As a climbing summit, the normal route also leads over an easy climbing section up to the cross. The mountain route from the Wankerfleck chapel over Geiselstein to Kenzenhütte is also suitable for hikers except for the ascent to the summit. It steadily climbs with the Geiselstein summit always in sight and follows the easiest approach on the west side of the mountain to the summit cross. Past Kenzenkopf, it then descends to the Kenzenhütte, where refreshments can be taken.
