The Hörner group in the Oberallgäu Illertal offers numerous mountain routes for beginners. Well connected by the Hörnerbahn, a unique hiking area between 1,500 and 1,800 meters is available for young and old alike. Stunning views down into the valley, rustic dining options, breathtaking panoramic views of the Allgäu and Lechtal mountain ranges characterize this hike. The route starts directly at the mountain station of the Hörnerbahn, where there are several dining options as well as a mountain cart rental for the final descent. The hike itself follows easy mountain paths and is suitable for everyone who has a bit of stamina and isn't deterred by some inclines.
