From Limone over the Cima di Mughera

This long circular route takes us with the Cima di Mughera probably to one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Lake Garda. It begins in the attractive town of Limone sul Garda on the northwest shore, which attracts many visitors with its picturesque old town, the old harbor, and the diverse leisure opportunities. We leave the lively town behind on the "Sentiero del Sole" and hike directly along the lakeshore until we make a steep ascent to the left toward Punta Larici. Our view over Lake Garda widens more and more, and our ascent to Passo Rocchetta, which runs along the steep cliff faces, also offers a constant panoramic view. The most impressive view is then from the rock ledge of the Cima di Mughera: almost vertically below us lies Limone, and on the other shore we see Malcesine, Monte Baldo, and Monte Altissimo.
