From Holzgau over the Öfnerspitze to the Krottenspitze

In the small community of Holzgau in the Lech valley, we start the around 10 km long route up to the Krottenspitze. On the five-hour hike at an altitude of over 2500 m, we pass the Simms Waterfall, the two Roßgumpen alpine pastures and cross the Öfnerspitze. After a short ridge walk, we then reach the summit of the Krottenspitze, where a wonderful view over the Lech valley and the Allgäu Alps awaits us.
