Fellhorn

The circular tour starts at the Karbach snack station, heading into the valley, past the power plant and the reservoir. Shortly before the Leachalm, turn sharply right and follow trail 52 up to the Hörneggele (2127 m). Here you are already rewarded with a magnificent view over the Gsies Valley and the Dolomites. Continuing north, you reach the Fellhorn (2518 m), which is 400 m higher, via the mountain ridge. From here descend into the Pfinnscharte (2395 m), turn left and go down trail No. 10 to the alpine huts of the Kapaire Alm. The tour leads back along the forest road through the Karbach Valley to the starting point.
