The starting point is Capanna Alpina behind St. Kassian. After a short, somewhat steep ascent, you reach Col de Locia on path no. 11. It continues through the dreamlike flat valley of Großfanes, to Grßfanesalm and up to Limosee and the Limojoch, where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the famous mountains of the Fanes.
