The Entschenkopf is a 2043 m high peak in the Allgäu Alps. The tour to the summit is one of the most beautiful in the region due to the spectacular views. We hike from Reichenbach via the Gaisalpe to the Falkenjoch and then ascend to the summit via small climbing sections. We continue along a ridge path with wonderful views of the Rubihorn and the Gaisalp lakes. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required for this tour, but climbing equipment is not necessary. The descent is via the Gängele and past the Upper and Lower Gaisalp lakes, which are ideal for a refreshing dip in summer. The Gaisalpe and the Untere Richteralpe offer refreshment stops along the way.
